Our value word for the week is: Courage -  the ability to do something that you know is difficult or dangerous

Franklin D. Roosevelt  once said, “Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the assessment that something else is more important than fear.

Woodlands students respect others not only in their speech but also their actions. Students need to realize that their actions can show disrespect as well. When students tsk another person, roll their eyes, or smack their lips these are all signs of disrespect. Gestures like these are a sign of disrespect and a bad attitude. Let’s stay positive, and show respect at all times.

Picture retake day is tomorrow. Any student wishing to have their fall picture retaken or any student who has not had their picture taken yet will have the opportunity tomorrow morning.

The lost and found already has several items in it. It is only going to grow as winter approaches.  If you are missing items please stop by the lost and found and claim the items that are yours.

November is the month of Thankfulness. This month we will be giving everyone something to think about and be thankful for. Today spend a little time thinking about - What’s a place you’re thankful for?
