Good morning today is Wednesday, November 9, 2022
The lunch menu for today is: Students will have the choice of a Toasted Cheese Sandwich or a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. You will also receive Tomato Soup, Goldfish Crackers, Fresh Veggies with Dip and Milk
Let’s keep Rachel’s Challenge alive. Make sure you are journaling regularly, accepting others and doing kind acts. Make sure you recognize those students that do kind acts by completing a chain link for them.
Our value word for the week is: Courage - the ability to do something that you know is difficult or dangerous
Thibaut (Tee-bow) once said, “Courage doesn’t mean you’re not afraid anymore, it just means your action isn’t controlled by your doubts.”
Woodlands Students are polite. Woodlands Students always say thank you when they are given something or someone else does something for you. You should always show others that you appreciate what they do for you. Whether it is when you are handed a cookie in the lunch line, or if someone holds the door for you, or you are given a treat to celebrate someone’s birthday, you should always say thank you.
Picture retake day is today. Any student wishing to have their fall picture retaken or any student who has not had their picture taken yet will have the opportunity this morning. We will call students to the gym by the PA system.
The lost and found already has several items in it. It is only going to grow as winter approaches. If you are missing items please stop by the lost and found and claim the items that are yours.
November is the month of Thankfulness. This month we will be giving everyone something to think about and be thankful for things that are usually just taken for granted. Today spend a little time thinking about - What’s something on the playground you’re thankful for?
