1. Today is the last day to donate for Student Council Project Happy. Bring toys, treats, school supplies, and other items small enough to fit in a shoebox. Each item will provide you an entry to win a $30 Chick-Fil-A gift card.
2. Please join TLC in celebrating the upcoming Christmas break by participating in Spirit Week. Today is Santa hat and holiday socks day, Wednesday is winter storm gear day, Thursday is flannel day, and Friday is Ugly Christmas sweater or red and green day.
3. TLC is helping out with the 7th annual Chemo Care Package project through Friday, December 16. This project helps out families with kids who are battling cancer during the Christmas season. Please bring in new items-- toys, puzzles, games, coloring books, etc-- to your 5th period class. Each item will be tallied and the winning 5th period class will be given a reward after Christmas break!
4. Thursday's lunch menu has been changed to a lasagna rollup with sauce, breadstick, salad and a cookie.
5. News from the Huron Public Library: Play some Chess at the Library with chess master Paul Sherwood today at 6 pm. Come for fun or to improve your game. Open to all ages and abilities.
Do you love to crochet, or would you like to learn how? Meet up and share current yarn projects, get help from Library staff, or just enjoy being in the company of other crafters at the Stitch Niche: Crochet Club for teens and adults. The next meeting is Tuesday, December 20 at 3 pm.
