Parent Engagement Opportunity
Please come and join us on Thursday, November 16, at the McCormick auditorium at 6:30pm.

Below is a short biography on our presenter, Scott Frank:
I recently retired as a Captain with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. I was fortunate to have served in a variety of roles throughout my career that spanned over three decades. I served, for nine years, as a DARE/Resource Officer for six different school districts and quickly learned how the internet was impacting our youth. I wanted to make a difference, so for the last twelve years of my career, I conducted online investigations as an affiliate of the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC). During the ICAC investigations, I posed as a child and immersed myself into their online world and the risks they face. My experience was horrific and my perspective unique – both of which serve as my fuel and passion to invite you to experience the Digital Empowerment Project. I have provided engaging, relevant, and empowering presentations to thousands of parents, educators and students over the last eleven years and now, after retirement, I am working with some talented and caring individuals as part of the Digital Empowerment Project.

As trusted adults, we all have an important role in helping our youth make safe and healthy choices online. I am here to help as a presenter and as a resource.
