Announcements - Thursday, 9/20/18
1. Anyone wishing to participate in Speech and Debate; there will be an
organizational meeting today at 2:30 in room 212. Please make
arrangements to attend so we can begin preparations for competitions.
2. Friday
's Spirit Week theme is Tiger Pride. Seniors are white, juniors wear
black, sophomores wear red and freshmen wear grey. Show your school
spirit!
3.
Homecoming dance tickets will be on sale thru Friday during lunch. Tickets are $10 each. If you are bringing someone who does not attend HHS you must turn in a guest form when purchasing the tickets. Guest forms include emergency medical information and needs to be signed by the guest parent and their principal. Guest forms are available outside the high school office.

Reminder to all staff and students this Friday, 9/21/18, Huron City
Schools will be running on a 2-hour delay. Classes will begin at 9:25am
at Huron High School.

Attention college bound juniors:
You are encouraged to take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit
Scholarship qualifying test scheduled for the morning of Wednesday,
10/10/18. Please bring a check or money order for $16 to Mrs. Smith in
the School Counseling office made out to Huron High School by Friday,
10/5.
6. Kalahari
will have a representative here during lunches Friday. If you are
interested in possible job opportunities stop by their table to learn
more.

Attention students: The Huron Chamber of Commerce is looking for
volunteers to assist with general office duties. If interested, please
contact: Amy Roldan @ Huron Chamber of Commerce, 419-433-5700.

Elks Student of the Month scholarship applications are available in the
Counseling office for seniors. Only the first 14 to apply will be
entered. Please return completed applications with a wallet size
photograph to Mrs. Smith in the Counseling office.
