1. The National Honor Society would like to thank all students and homeroom
classes who participated in the fall holiday food drive. The school
collected a total of 1,115 items of food that will be distributed to
families who need extra help this season. Special congratulations go to
our winning class, Mr. Blevins' homeroom students, who collected 519
total items, and the runner-up class of Mr. Wood's homeroom students who
brought in 141 items.
2. Attention all sophomores or juniors interested in attending EHOVE next
year. The application period is going on now! If you are considering,
please go to www.EHOVE.net
and click on "Now it is time to apply" and fill out the quick
application. Mrs. Fahr will send over your transcript at the end of the
semester to complete your file. If you have any questions, please see
Mrs. Fahr in the Guidance Office.
3. New Scholarship opportunity: NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM – Awards available to NHS Seniors. Please stop into the Guidance office
for more information. DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 16, 2016.
4. Castaway Bay will be here Tuesday, Nov. 24th,
during lunch. Any student interested in employment opportunities with
the water park are encouraged to stop by their table during lunch.

Seniors: Huron Rotary would like to meet you at their luncheons on
Tuesdays. If you would like to attend, please pick up a form in the
high school office. Once the form is completed and turned back into the
office we will schedule a time for you to go. We normally like to send two
at a time so you may want to partner up with a friend.
6. Lunch today is General Tso chicken or a toasted Italian sub. Just a reminder that there will be no salad bar offered this week at lunch.
