2.  The Creative Collage series at the Huron Public Library begins Wednesday, December 9 at
6 pm
. This month's project will be a collage notebook. Registration is required.

The Huron Public Library Teen Library Council will have a holiday party this Friday, December 11 at 2:45 pm. Members are reminded that this is an "ugly holiday sweater"- wearing, white elephant gift exchange.

Game Nights are every Tuesday at 6 pm at the Huron Public Library. Registration can be completed upon arrival.

3.  Reminder to all Juniors:  2nd payment for the Junior Class Trip is due Tuesday, December 15.

4. 
The 6th period Spanish class is doing a donation for the Erie County Humane Society, a charity which is often overlooked.  One of the things needed is newspapers.  There is a box in Mrs. Arambula's room labeled for the Humane Society if you could please remember to drop your leftover papers in there at the end of the day.

5.  TLC will be hosting "Operation Troops" all of this week. The goal is to bring in basic necessities and snacks such as hard candy, gum, crackers, granola bars, beef jerky, cards/card games/ journals, pens, toiletries, pocket kleenex, chapstick and hand warmers.  Bring items to your first period class.  The first period with the most items will win fresh baked cookies and hot cocoa.  All proceeds go to help the troops. All donations would be appreciated!

6.  THE GREAT WOLF LODGE in Sandusky will be holding an OPEN HOUSE FOR JOB SEEKERS  today from 3:00PM – 6:00PM in the MAIN LOBBY OF THE LODGE.  Come get information on a variety of jobs, such as Food Service; Lifeguards; Retail and Arcade Staff; Guest Services; Housekeeping; Kid’s Experience and Costume Characters; and Maintenance and Security Staff. We are looking for individuals, age 16 and over,  who either want to work part-time or full-time in a FUN environment.  Students are encouraged to bring their parent’s to this event.  We’ll have a special information table, just for them to answer their questions.  We have positions for all ages.  Attendees will be able to get job information, fill out applications, set up interviews and also checkout our SNOWLAND themed lobby, complete with  a life-size Gingerbread House.  We’ll even have refreshments. 7.  Attention all sophomores or juniors interested in attending EHOVE next year.  The application period is going on now!  If you are considering, please go to www.EHOVE.net and click on "now it is time to apply" and fill out the quick application.  Mrs. Fahr will send over your transcript at the end of the semester to complete your file.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Fahr in the Guidance office.

8.  The Huron ski club will have a meeting on Friday, December 11, in the high school cafeteria immediately after school.  Information packets are in the office.  Please bring parent/guardian form to the meeting.  Parents are welcome to attend.  Contact Julie Parell with any questions.

9.  Seniors, Jostens will be back for one final time to take orders for graduation supplies (caps & gowns, announcements, etc) on Thursday, December 10, during lunches.  You should be receiving a post card in the mail from Jostens if you have not yet placed an order.

10.  Huron Rotary would like to meet our Seniors at their luncheons on Tuesdays.  If you would like to attend, please pick up a form in the high school office.  Once the form is completed and turned back into the office we will schedule a time for you to go.  Please ask a friend to partner up with you as we like to send a couple at a time.

11.  Lunch today is a burrito bowl or a toasted pizza sub.
