1. Ripcho Studio will be here for retakes on Friday, October 23rd at 9:00 AM. If you were absent on picture day in September, plan to have your picture taken. Order forms are in the office if you need one. If you have received your pictures and are not happy with them, please remember to bring those with you on October 23rd so you may have your picture re-taken.

2. The Huron Interact Club is an International Service organization of 13-18 year olds sponsored by the Huron Rotary Club. To fund their first International project, the Huron Interact Club will be holding a spaghetti dinner and raffle on November 1st from 6:00-7:30 at First Presbyterian Church. Dinner tickets are $10 and raffle tickets are $5. Carry out is available and you do not need to be present to win a raffle prize.

3. The Huron Public Library Teen Library Council Halloween After-hours Costume Party will take place Saturday, October 24th from 6 - 10 pm. Members need to pick up a permission slip and bring it and a side dish or dessert the evening of the event. Questions? Ask Ms Carol at 419-433-5009.

4. Swim Team members - practice starts Monday, October 19th. You must turn in your emergency medical form and physical to the office or bring it to the first practice. You will not be able to swim until the forms are received. The bus will leave for practice to the YMCA right after school.

5. Students may not wear shorts to school again until April 15th. Students who wear shorts after today will be asked to call home for a change of clothing.

6. Congratulations to the newly elected officers of McCormick Junior Honor Society, President Tyler Schaefer, Vice-president Nic Ritzler, Secretary Dominic Hoty, and Treasurer Drew Wennes.

7. Today, the cafeteria tables will be covered with paper to be used as a positive message board. Please feel free to write a positive quote, a positive message of your own, or some artwork that sends a positive message to others. Crayons will be provided! The same paper will be used for both 7th grade and 8th grade lunches, so please leave room for others to leave a message!
