2-Hour Delayed Start for All-Students: Friday, December 8th

All Huron City Schools students will follow a 2-hour delayed start schedule on Friday, December 8th. The district scheduled three delayed starts throughout the school year to serve as professional learning sessions for all faculty and staff. Each session, titled Vertical Alignment meetings, allows for all staff to meet as departments and across grade levels to review instructional practices, content sequencing and common assessments. The delayed starts will provide our team the opportunity to review, reevaluate, and ultimately determine if we are on target to achieve our instructional and operational priorities for the year.

Parents and students are encouraged to visit the districts website to review building and transportation times. There will NOT be A.M. Tigers Kids Club during delayed starts.

Planned 2-hour delayed starts:

Friday September 22, 2017

Friday December 8, 2017

Friday, March 2, 2018

Please post a note on your refrigerator or other common area in your home, to remind you and your child of each scheduled 2-hour delayed start. Please feel free to contact me at 419.433.1234 ext. 5026 or at ASKDENNY@HURON-CITY.K12.OH.US  with questions or concerns.
