Announcements - Thursday, 3/8/18

1.  Presale tickets for tonight's district boys basketball game vs. Margaretta are on sale in the high school office.  Tickets in advance are $4 for students and $6 for adults.  All tickets at the gate will be $6.  The game will be played at Norwalk High School at 8pm.

2. 
The free self-defense class for senior girls will be held today at 3pm in the wrestling room off the high school band room.  Please wear comfortable, modest clothing and tennis shoes. Sign up sheets are in the high school office if you are interested.

3. 
Attention Students - Volunteers are needed to work with special needs children and siblings at the North Force Sports Camp this summer. Student Volunteer Applications can be found in the HHS Counseling Office.
 
4.  Applications for the Academic Letter are now available in the high school office.  A student must be a sophomore, junior or senior with a 3.6 accumulative GPA to apply.  Please return the form back to the high school office by March 30.

5.  Attention Swimmers. Bring your swim warm up to lunch TODAY. Coach Randy will be here to collect them from you.

6.  Huron Parks & Rec are looking for two volunteers to be Easter bunnies on Saturday, 3/24, from 9am-1:30pm.  This is an easy and fun way to earn some community service hours.  Contact Brian Croucher @ 419-433-8487 if interested.

7. 
We need an artist who can draw Johnny Carson for the program cover of Serving Our Seniors annual fundraising show due April 1. This would be a great opportunity to earn some community service time.  See Mrs. Bengele if interested.

8.  On Saturday, March 10th, TLC will be hosting a masquerade Spring formal in the high school gymnasium from 8pm-10pm. Tickets are $10 each and are on sale during lunches this week.  No tickets will be sold at the door!  If you are bringing someone who does not attend HHS, you will need to have the proper paperwork filled out and turned in when you purchase your ticket.  The papers are located outside the high school office.

9.  If you participated in a winter sport and would like to keep your locker decoration please take that down.  On Friday, all remaining banners will be disposed of.

10.  TLC is collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in order to raise money for childhood cancer.  Please help us out by collecting pop tabs and dropping them off in the office or in Mrs. Bender's room before April 13th.  Thank you for your efforts!

11.  Lunch today spaghetti with meat sauce or lasagna.
