Scheduled two-Hour Delayed Start for Students
All Huron City Schools students will follow a two-hour delayed start schedule on Friday, September 21. The district scheduled three delayed starts throughout the school year, to serve as professional learning sessions for all faculty and staff. Each session, titled Vertical Alignment meetings, allows for all staff to meet as departments and across grade levels to review instructional practices, content sequencing and assessment design. Superintendent Dennis Muratori stated, “The delayed starts will provide our team the opportunity to review, reevaluate, and ultimately determine if we are on target to achieve our instructional and learning priorities for the year.”

Parents and students are encouraged to visit the districts website to review building and transportation times. There will not be A.M. Tigers Kids Club during delayed starts.

Planned two-hour delayed starts:
Friday September 21, 2018
Friday, December 7, 2018
Friday, March 1, 2019

If there are any questions, parents are encouraged to contact a building principal or the superintendent’s office at 419-433-1234 ext. 5000.
