Let’s keep Rachel’s Challenge alive. Make sure you are journaling regularly, accepting others and doing kind acts. Make sure you recognize those students that do kind acts by completing a chain link for them.

Our value word for the week is: Accountability -  required to be responsible for something

John DiLemme once said, “Accountability separates the wishers in life from the action-takers that care enough about their future to account for their daily actions.”

Woodlands Students should surprise others by performing random acts of kindness. Go out of your way to do something surprisingly kind and generous for someone. You should make an effort to do things like this at least once a week.

There are several items in the lost and found already this year. Please stop and claim your items that you are missing.

Students that are riding their bikes to school are reminded once you get onto school property you must walk your bike to the rack.

Students that are being picked up after school are reminded that parent pick-up is on the west side of the building along Lake Erie Parkway. Students can only be picked up in the main parking lot if your parent has contacted the office and arranged it.

On Monday, September 10 the Huron Public Library is hosting - Geek Out Squad at 4:30. Students will work on computer coding to begin learning how to program mini-robots. Contact the library to register for this awesome activity.

There is a home football game this evening. All students are reminded that when the game is in play you must be seated in the stands. If you are planning to attend the game this evening please make sure you are representing Woodlands in the right way --  showing kindness, compassion and respect.
