1. Sunday, October 7th through Saturday, October 13th is Teen Read Week at the Huron Public Library with the theme "It's Written in the Stars". Check out the special sci fi book display, and receive an entry for the prize basket drawing when you check anything out with your Library card. This is only for grades 7 - 12.

Cosmic Tee Craft, Thursday, October 11th at 6:30 pm for grades 7 - 12. Bring in a plain dark t-shirt (navy or black) and create an out of this world piece of wearable art. Registration required.

Teen Library Council meets Friday, October 12th at 3:30 pm. New members are welcome!

2. Ripcho Studios will be here on Tuesday, October 23rd for picture retakes. If you were absent on picture day in September, plan to have your picture taken. Order forms are available in the office if you need one. If you received your pictures and are not happy with them, please remember to bring those with you to give to the photographer on October 23rd so you may have your picture re-taken.

3. This Friday at the home Huron varsity football game against Vermilion, is our 7th annual crucial catch PINK out in support of the American Cancer Society. Pink bandanas, bracelets, face stickers and boom sticks will be for sale at the game. Come to the game, wear your PINK, and show your support! Go TIgers!

4. Reminder – there is no school on Friday, October 12th due to a teacher in service day.

5. Attention 7th and 8th grade girls interested in playing basketball. Open Gym will be held at McCormick on October 10th from 5:30-6:30 and Oct 16th, 18th, 23rd and 25th from 3:00-4:30. Tryouts will be on Oct 29th and 30th from 3:00-4:30. If you have questions, see Ms. Cotton in room 202 during CNN news.
