Announcements - Tuesday, 1/9/18

1.  Huron High School will move their exam schedule to Thursday, Friday, Tuesday.  
 

2.  Attention CCP students - Please stop in to the Counseling office to pick up your books for the Spring session at Firelands College.  Also, books will not be given out if you have not returned books from the fall.
 
3.  Football lifting will begin on Monday, January 15 at 7PM in the weight room.

4.  On Saturday, the Boys Varsity Bowling Team consisting of Anthony Drivas, Bobby Herber, Nick Pack, Micheal Bryk, Jared Ochs and finally Jaxon Cramer were successful at winning the SBC BAY DIVISION CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP. 

Also, the following two boys bowled so well the they were named to the All-Conference team. Placing (2) was Micheal Bryk and (3) was Anthony Drivas.

The Lady Tigers had a great day and for being a young team they did quite well. Finishing in 4th place over all.

Erin Kleinhans led the girls and was named number 1 in All- SBC Bay division for the girls.

5.  Attention ALL SENIORS: In order to qualify for the Diploma of Distinction you must have 50 hours of community service turned in by the end of 1st semester.  No more than 25 hours can be sports related.  Your deadline for this is January 12th.  Please turn all hours into Mrs. Bengele in the Main Office.  If you have questions about your current amount turned in, please see Mrs. Smith in the Counseling Office. 

6.  Baseball open gyms:  Thursday, January 11th at 8:30pm-9:15pm at Woodlands
(Hitting) January 14th (Sunday) at Woodlands Juniors & Seniors 4:30pm-5:15pm, Freshmen, Sophomores 5:15-6:00pm.

7.  Den time is cancelled for this week.

8.  Juniors, you are in position to win the quarter 2 attendance competition.  More details on your celebration will follow.


9.  Exam Cram at the Huron Public Library:  Sunday-Wednesday, January 7-10; Get ready for finals with us!  Our study room has tables, chairs, laptops, drinks, snacks, herbal teas, and aromatherapy scents to help you be calm and focused.  Receive a relaxing message from local massage therapist Abbey Allen, as an extra boost.  Registration required for massage only.

10.  Lunch today is a meatball or pizza sub.
