1. The Huron River Fest Queen and Junior Queen Pageants will be held on Friday, July 13 at 6:00pm at the Huron Boat Basin. If you would like an application, you can go to www.huronriverfest.com or stop in the school office to pick one up. Applications are due by June 8th.

2. The Summer Reading Program for Teens starts Tuesday, June 5 at the Huron Public Library. Make reading more fun by entering to win prizes! Unique craft programs, a trivia night, book groups and more are plan to help fill your summer. More information will be coming to your homeroom teachers, and additional information is available online and at the Library.

3. Do you want a yearbook and did not order one earlier in the year? If so, bring $24.00 in cash or a check made out to Huron City Schools on the last day of school to purchase any extra yearbooks we have. Give your name to Mr. Maleski or Mrs. Brown to enter a drawing for extra yearbooks.

4. The lost and found is overflowing. Please stop and look for items you may be missing…..clothing, lunch box, books, etc. Items will be donated after the last day of school.

5. Reminder that school will be dismissed at 1:30 on Thursday, May 31st…..the last day of school.

6. Please be sure to return sports uniforms and overdue library books, pay school fees and lunch money owed, etc., so that your grade card will not be withheld.

7. There will be a brief meeting tomorrow morning after the announcements for 8th grade boys interested in golf.
