ANNOUNCEMENTS - FRIDAY, MAY 19, 2017
1. Congratulations to the new National Honor Society officers for next
year: President Nick Lenyo, Vice President Sarah Blevins, Secretary
Casey VanCauwenbergh, Treasurer Brooke Ritzler, Blood Drive Chair Maggie
McNea, and Recycling Chair Lucas Critelli. We look forward to another
great year with these officers at the helm!
2. The deadline to order a yearbook is TODAY. Either order one online by visiting jostensyearbooks.com, or bring a check in to Mrs. Lee, made out to Huron High School, for $65.
3. Today during 3rd period we will be taking the senior superlative pictures; any remaining pictures will be taken on Monday.
4. Attention all Academic Challenge members. There will be a brief meeting after school next Tuesday
in order to discuss the upcoming season. Please make arrangements so
that you can attend. The members of next year's team are Nick Lenyo,
Nathan Polak, Maggie McNea, Ronnie Eytchison, Grace Moser, Wyatt Kromer,
Marc Dieter, Aubree Steinmetz, and Stephen Demos.
5. Attention Students - Volunteers are needed to work with special needs
children and siblings at the North Force Sports Camp. Camp dates are June 5 - June 29. Student Volunteer Applications can be found in the HHS Counseling Office. DEADLINE IS JUNE 1, 2017
6. Attention anyone interested in being a
part of the Huron Tiger Cross Country program next year - there will be a
brief meeting in Coach Blevins' room Monday after school promptly at
2:35 p.m. Please plan on attending the meeting in order to receive the summer practice schedule and other important information.
7. Lunch today is mac & cheese.
