1. Presale
tickets for tonight's boys sectional basketball game, to be played at
Willard High School, are available in the high school office. Adults
are $6 and students are $4 presale. All tickets at the door will be $6.
2.
A lost & found table has been set up beneath the Freshman bulletin
board in the downstairs hallway. Stop by to check for any items you may
be missing. On Friday, all unclaimed items will be disposed of at the end of the day.
3. Academic
letter applications are now available in the high school office. You
must be a sophomore, junior or senior with a cumulative gpa of 3.6 to
apply. The deadline to apply is
April 1st.
4. The following students from Huron have been chosen as Career Tech Student of the Nine Weeks or are on our Honor Roll for the 2nd Quarter. We are very proud of these students from
Huron who attend EHOVE Career Center. Please congratulate them if you have the opportunity. Thanks!

5. Attention all students who are 16 and older: There is presently a Blood
Emergency in our area, and NHS is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive
Wednesday, Feb. 24
with appointments from 8-1. NHS members will be scheduling potential
donors during study halls and at lunch. Please give the gift of life
and donate blood! See Mrs. Merckens or James Faunda with questions.
6. There will be a mandatory informational parent meeting on Tuesday, March 1, at 7pm in the high school cafeteria for those interested in trying out for football cheerleading.
7. Signups for the Huron Baseball Softball program will be held at the Huron Eagles on Sunday, March 6 from 1-4pm. If you are interested in participating, please stop by the high school office for more information.
8. Lunch today is meat & cheese nachos or a buffalo chicken wrap.
