An old Chinese Proverb states: I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand.

This is the driving principle behind The Woodlands Children’s Garden Project.  Hence, our objectives are to provide students the opportunity to discover, explore, and learn about plants and animals in a hands-on manner, to provide educational opportunities for students and the Huron community in general, and to provide an opportunity for the students at Woodlands School to foster relationships with experts in gardening, horticulture, and wildlife biology from the community.  In addition, the gardens will beautify the school grounds.
