4/3/2007 ~ Students began a mini-unit on westward expansion during US History. Students were assigned a territory to answer a series of 5 questions about. The questions are located on the Note-taking Matrix. Tomorrow, their portion is due. Linked below are notes and the Note-Taking Matrix. Students must use their textbooks and/or online sources to complete the questions.
4/4/2007 ~ Students have an assessment on 4/5/2007. Students are allowed to use their Note-Taking Matrix for the assessment. Below are the responses for the assessment on Westward Expansion. Tomorrow, the assessment will be posted for students who missed school for health or non-academic purposes.

4/18-24/2007 ~ Discussed and studied the various causes of the American Civil War. Assessment will be tomorrow.
4-24-2007 ~ Finished discussing the causes of the American Civil War and received an extended response question, which is due on Wednesday, April 25, 2007.
