Welcome To Huron City Schools
School Year 2008-2009!

Huron City Schools serve as a focal point for the community. Our district consists of three buildings: Woodlands Elementary School (preschool through 4th grade), McCormick Middle School (grades 5 through 8), Huron High School (grades 9 through 12).

Approximately 1600 students are served by the district and are transported by a fleet of 16 buses. Huron City offers gifted and special education programs along with many extra-curricular activities for all ages. Approximately 85% of Huron's students opt to further their education after high school graduation.

Contact the School at (419) 433-1234

For the ninth year in a row, the Huron City School District has been named to the "What Parents Want in a School" listing. Huron City is approximately five miles square and is located on Lake Erie. We are ten minutes away from Cedar Point Amusement Park and about ten minutes away from Bowling Green State University-Firelands Campus.
