- Lunch menu for today is: Pepperoni Pizza, Garden Salad with Choice of Dressing, Applesauce and Milk.
- The Me and My Guy Disco Dance – that was canceled last Friday due to the weather has been rescheduled for Friday, March 12. Girl Scout Troupe 868 is sponsoring this dance. The dance is for any girl in grades K-6 and you are to bring your favorite guy (father, grandfather, uncle, or older brother). The dance will run from 6:30-8:30 in the Woodlands Cafeteria. Admission is $3 per person.
- Reminder to ecology club members – you need to go to Osbourne Park this Friday after school as soon as possible to audition for your commercial. Mrs. LaCrosse turned in your scripts, and you have a VERY good chance of being the spokesperson for the “Litter Pick It Up Campaign.” Don’t forget to arrange with your partners the time you audition. Again you have a very good chance of being chosen, so don’t forget.
- Attention 5th and 6th graders: Running Club is starting back up. On Thursdays from 8:00 am to 8:45 am, we will be holding our 2nd round of running club. It will be held inside the gym, so wear comfortable clothes. New members in 5th and 6th grade are invited to join us on Thursday. We will be gearing the club activities towards track events, building up for the Hershey track meet in April. Hope to see you there!
- Registration for the Huron Baseball/Softball Program will be held this Saturday, March 6th at McCormick Junior High.
- Students and staff, please take a peek in the front showcase to see the Ecology Club posters of our local ecosystem. The talented members of the 5th and 6th grade ecology club completed a project to capture snapshots of nature. Their favorite photos were enlarged into posters and fabulously framed. You can see these photos among the wind turbine display created by 5th grade science students. This just shows how our alternative energy choices can help preserve our planet's land, water, and air for the future.
