Huron City Schools receives federally funded grants programs, including Title 1, Title II, Title IV, and Early Childhood Special Education and IDEA-B. IDEA-B money is earmarked for programs for students with disabilities under the guidelines of the Ohio Department of Education, subject to approval by the Office of Exceptional Children. Grant applications are completed each spring. Anyone who wishes to receive information or offer suggestions regarding the application should attend the meeting scheduled August 9th at 7:20 PM in the Huron City Board of Education conference room. If you are unable to make the scheduled meeting, you should contact the Superintendent, Frederick M. Fox at 419.433-1234, the Curriculum Director, Chris Standring at 419.433-1822, or the School Psychologist, Megan Peugeot at 419.433-1820. |
