The Kalahari Waterpark Resort announced the donation of an artifical turf surface for the Huron Memorial Stadium and a considerable donation to refurbish other athletic facilities in the district - all without requiring any expenditure of tax dollars. Read all about it here.
A tremendous challenge was also made to the entire Huron community and family of alumni wherever they may be to participate in the two million dollar project. Read about how the program works and how you can participate.

Scholarship Dance a Success
The annual Scholarship Dance was held April 12 at the Lake Erie Country Club and earned enough for two scholarships this year. Read all about it and see pictures of the evening's festivities by clicking here.
Chicago St. Patrick's Day - Huron Style On Saturday, March 15, 2008, a contingent of the Huron High Alumni Association gathered at an Irish Pub on the Near North Side of Chicago for a combination St. Paddy's Day celebration and Huron High reunion. '83 State Champion Girls Return On February 2, 2008, the Ohio AA Girls' State Basketball Championship Team from 1983 returned to HHS for their 25th anniversary gathering. They celebrated with an afternoon meal at Jim's Pizza Box, returned for an exciting basketball game and half-time festivities that evening, then finished off their day at i 5's, the local watering hole. Iraq War Hero Returns Chris McGraw, '96, recently wounded in Iraq, returned home on furlough to a hero's welcome. See the updated story and photos by clicking here.
