Dr. Tatman returned to Huron City Schools as the superintendent in August of 2022. Previous experience in the district was during his student teaching experience as an Intervention Specialist and Middle School teacher in 2004. 

Prior to his current leadership role, Dr. Tatman was the Chief Operating Officer for Olmsted Falls City School (Cuyahoga county). Served on the Olmsted Falls City Schools administrative team for nine years, previously serving as the Director of Human Resources and Director of Student Services.  

Dr. Tatman has classroom experience, having worked as an Intervention Specialist and Transition Coordinator at the middle and high school levels for Avon, North Ridgeville, and Huron City School districts.

He holds a Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Youngstown State University, Masters in Educational Administration from Ashland University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Baldwin-Wallace University.
