Scholarship Application Information:

Applications for the HHSAA Scholarships, the Thomas Shontz Memorial Scholarship and the Dolores Heydinger Memorial Elementary Education Scholarship, and the Dick and June Klein Schoarship  are available through the high school guidance office. Due dates are set by the office, so follow them carefully. Winners are announced at the annual Scholarship Awards Assembly held in mid-May.

Donations may be made at any time to the HHSAA Scholarship Fund, to the Thomas Shontz Memorial Scholarship Fund (for aspiring science career students), abd the , or to the Dolores Heydinger Elementary Education Scholarship (for graduates entering a program to prepare themselves to teach at the elementary level). All donations are bundled and invested securely with the Huron Education Foundation to earn additional dollars for scholarships in perpetuity. 

Mail your check to HHSAA Scholarship Fund, 710 Cleveland Road West, Huron OH 44839. If you choose to donate to multiple scholarships, just fill out the form and write only ONE check. We split it here and credit each account. (Bank regulation!)

 Check with your place of employment to see if they have a matching fund agreement and thus leverage your own contribution. We are a 501 c (3), thus your contribution, and that of an employer, wlll be fully tax deductible under present IRS tax regulations.
